Guard Industrie Woodguard Plant Based Formula

WoodGuard® is a new generation product for the water-repellent, oil-repellent and anti-stain protection of all raw wood and some composite wood.

WoodGuard® is a bio-based product derived from biomass. It has been formulated with ingredients of plant origin (corn, beetroot, tree resin). The use of plant molecules represents an eco-responsible alternative to fossil resources that are harmful to the environment.

WoodGuard® durably protects all materials and helps prevent the main causes of degradation such as stains, atmospheric pollution, greasy soiling, infiltration... It delays the aging of the support and facilitates its maintenance.

Once applied, WoodGuard® is a colourless product that does not alter the structure of the wood (its figure, grain, etc.). It is a non-film forming product that allows the wood to breathe. It does not peel, blister or yellow.

 

Application :
• Use neat, do not dilute.
• Shake the package well for 5 minutes before use. Always carry out a preliminary test on a small, inconspicuous area and allow to dry for 24 hours, especially on oily and exotic woods. Check the effectiveness by wetting the surface.
• Do not spray the product.
• The substrate must be impregnated in two coats with an interval of 15 minutes.
• On vertical surfaces, apply from the bottom-up.

 

Coverage depends on the porosity of the wood.
